Kevin O'Brien

Just thinking sadly and oh-so fondly of O'b the other day as I was reading an update on our proposed reunion of 10th Group weirdos this Fall. Being at and around Ft Devens this year will make his absence decidedly poignant.

I am a SF VN vet friend of Kevin,and had lost touch with him due to multiple hospitalizations. I just found out yesterday that he had died,and it floored me.
Although we never met in person,we were friends from the SF List,and I considered him to be a brother.

I can only offer my sincere condolences.

We met Kevin when he first brought his beloved poodle Zac into Club Canine for grooming. What a pair! You could tell Kevin had a special bond with that little rascal. We'll miss your smiling face and funny stories.

You will be missed on the List by all your SF Brothers. Rest well and fall in with the Great Jumpmaster for a final leap.

Rest in Peace Brave Warrior! You left us way too soon O'B. I shall always remember you as a good friend. Memories of FLINTLOCK '82 will always bring you to mind. I am very proud to have served with you and called you Brother. As you sit in your great chair in the Halls of Valhalla, think of us as we shall think of and remember you. A final toast to you Brother! Cheers!
