And although I only followed his life through hearing about him through school....he obviously was one of a kind....kind and giving man throughout his life! Mr. Ong was a such a talented educator with passion and joy for his students and his class. He was my freshman English teacher some 37 years ago, and I am grateful to have been a part of his class. I remember fondly his dedication, energy, and enthusiasm. Thank you, Mr. Ong, and may you rest in peace.
