To Kevin's family, our deepest and most sincere condolences. For those of you that didn't know, Kevin was a member of the 1995 Texas State Chess Championship Team from Russell Elementary. That was possibly the strongest team I ever coached as the Russell mentor. The team was comprised mostly of about twenty 5th graders, and that year no one came close to touching us. Kevin was a member of that team, and one of those 5th graders. He was a strong chess player, a prolific tournament...

Thanks to him and his family for his service. Met some of his fellow National Guard Soldiers recently and they said Scott was a great soldier.
God Bless
