If the measure of a man is partly the character of the children he raises, then my three years working with Ryan - and the times Kevin volunteered to assist with classroom activities - mark him as a special person, indeed. His own dad Randy taught two of the GVSU Education Leadership courses I took and enjoyed, and he talked often of the love he had for his family .
