I am truly sorry to hear of Kevins passing. I worked with Kevin for many years at store 80. I always looked forward to working with him on a daily basis. We joked and laughed every time we worked together and i can truly say he was one of my favorite people I have ever had in my life. He always spoke fondly of his family and loved them all. I will never forget how much he enjoyed music and how he would take breaks in his car, i asked him what he listened to on break and he said nothing since he took the knobs off the radio because it was broken and he was too cheap to get a new one. I have lots of happy memories of Kevin and our time together. He will truly be missed.

I graduated from Bethlehem Central High School with Kevin, Frank and Kerrilynn in 1971. I am so sorry for your loss, Frank and Kerrilynn. Losing a sibling so young must be hard.
I moved out west like Kevin (I’ve lived in Seattle since 1980) and continue to have strong family ties to Delmar like you do. I am hoping we will have a 50th Reunion sometime this year and very sorry Kevin won’t join us.
Take care as best you can. Janet Primomo

Kevin is/was/and will always be a wonderful family man, Katie can attest to, brother-in-law the Rooney and Bordash clan and family can attest to, friend and acquaintance, and stranger as anyone who has ever meet him can attest to, husband as my sister Teresa can attest to, father that Katie can attest to. I will so miss you my friend and brother behind the veil and just on the other side of the Rainbow bridge. Say hi to Mom and Dad, Paul and Don, Bon and all the other family members who were and are cheering you home through Grace... to be meet at the pearly gates! Welcome home brother till we meet again. I so love you and my heart breaks open letting in the celestial light of you... I miss you as you sail over the horizon... Thank you Teresee (Kevin's lovely way of saying your name...) for that lovely imagery yesterday from Henry Van Dyke's poem "Gone from the Light".... Let the tears and love flow....Big Hugs to all of us who grieve the ways we will miss you in our daily lives, your presence will paly hide and seeks from the other of the veil to catch a quick glint of your amazingly soft smiles.... "Gotta Love Them..." and then some. God Bless You, Your Soul, and Rest Brother, then go run free with family, friends, loved ones, and all my critters who are just waiting to meet and greet you... there are lots of them. l LOVE YOU BROTHER OF MINE! FOR ALL ETERNITY! and then some, from one tender heart to another... Hugs :)

To Kevin's family, I am a King Soopers shopper of 40 plus years and not all grocery store workers have a smile on their face. Kevin was the most pleasant and always had a smile on his face and I've missed him since he's been retired. Peace be with his family during this time of sadness.

I often visited with Kevin in the produce section of King Soopers. On the day I learned of my mother's death he took the time to listen as I told him a story or two about her. I knew he wasn't well and I'd ask a certain produce employee how he was getting along. Even this past week I was thinking of him as I shopped for veggies. May this gentle man rest in peace.

"Hey Kid."
I was blessed to work with "Rooney" at King Soopers and occasionally we would cross paths around town in Longmont. He always had that bright, loving smile on his face. Nothing seemed to bring him down. He will be missed by his extended family of co-workers. Rest in peace my friend.

Our Burns family and Rooney family spent many wonderful weekends together swimming and picnicking in Lake George And Thacher Park. We were sorry to read of Kevin´s passing and offer our sympathy to his wife, daughters, Frank, Kerrilyn and MaryAnn. Hopefully Kevin is now at peace with his mom and dad. God Bless.
