Dr. Schargen treated my chinchilla a few years ago. He was so sweet to her, and showed so much kindness and compassion. During the visit, we had a very nice conversation about our mutual love of exotic animals. His genuine and deep love of all creatures was most evident and it left quite a lasting impression on me. I am so deeply saddened to hear of his passing. R.I.P.
