I just want to express my deepest condolences to the passing of Kevin Schenk.
He was one of the first news anchors that I came across when I moved to the Syracuse area over a decade ago. I always joke with my wife that if I ever got into trouble, I would want one of two people that I would grant an exclusive interview: NewsChannel 9's Jennifer Sanders and him. My heart is heavy for all who loved Kevin; may you find comfort in your memories and strength in the love and support of family and friends.

The WSYR family has endured far more than its share of sadness over the years, so I send my...

Kevin was my newsguy way back when we were young radio personalities in Watertown. It was comforting working with someone that was so easy to get along with. We had a wonderful time trying to get each other to make a mistake or laugh on the air. Over time you lose touch with those that were a big part of your life decades ago. Kevin was a class act... even back in the early days. I am so sorry to hear of his passing and offer my sincere condolences to his family and those that had the...
