Kevin Schrader Obituary

Kevin Charles Schrader went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 24, 2018.
Kevin was born on March 27, 1963 in Camp Lejeune, NC to Larry and Mary Jane Schrader. He grew up in a military family with four siblings and was able to travel all over. He made many friends along the way that he had cherished and kept in touch with. Kevin had a love and respect for nature and animals. He was a master woodworker and created many beautiful pieces. He proudly worked at Humphrey Mechanical in Jacksonville.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Charles Schrader, and his grandparents, Walter & Ruth Schrader and Tom & Helen Harris.
Kevin is survived by his sons, Keith Charles Schrader and Jordan Kristopher Schrader, both of New Bern; his mother, Mary Jane Schrader of New Bern; siblings, Kari and Robert Cowan of Ernul, Kristopher Schrader of Havelock, Kandis Shark of Enterprise, AL, and Kara Schrader of Buffalo, NY; and nephews and nieces, Kirt McAden, Jason Germann, Jonathan Germann, Kelsey Rhodes, Kodey Shark, Megan Cowan, Hannah Stillwell, Abby Cowan, and Austin Schrader.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Crossroads Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the church. Burial will follow the service at New Bern Memorial Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted to Cotten Funeral Home & Crematory.
