Sherk Family:

I know of your family through my Mom, who goes to church and is friends with Mary. So sorry for your loss and even though I did not know Kevin personally, I have felt this terrible loss 3,000 miles away. Tom, I remember you from church many moons ago. Because of this death, I have recently started to silently bless every motorcycle rider I pass on our California roads. Take care and virtual hugs.

So sorry for your loss, Sherk family. You were always the kindest people to us youth group rascals and it's hard to take this kind of thing in. It'd been far too long since I'd seen or talked to Kevin, but I thought of him often and with happiness. The world is a harsher place without his silly humor and goofy laugh. I'll think back fondly on our time at Linglestown Life and pray for your healing and comfort.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

I was so glad to be able to pay my respects yesterday to a dear high school friend. Sherky always had a positive energy about him that when he was in a room the room would glow. He has left us to early but I will always remenber him fondly.

End of the summer cookout 2013

I am so sorry for the loss of Kevin. He was one of the nicest young men I have ever met. I apologize that my son (Ryan Manton)did not let me know about the service or I would have been there to pay my respects and tell you this in person.

I saw him and the dog he loved on Easter and I cannot believe this great guy is gone.
Remember all the joy that he had brought you and others and let that comfort you through your grief.

Dear Sue, Tom and family,
May Jesus be your comfort as you grieve your precious loss! What a beautiful, young life has moved Home. Our prayers for you all.

Sue & Tom, my thoughts are with you! Norm K

Sherk family,

I did not know Kevin, but was just behind the accident in my truck on saturday. I myself am a motorcyclist also as Kevin was and just wanted to convey my condolences. Please look to the Lord in your time of grief as we do not know what his ultimate plan is. The death of Kevin has made me look at my life and made me think about trying to be more of an influence for Christ. Another truck driver had said to me as we were waiting at the accident scene " just think he...
