It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Kevin John Tessier, 64, son of the late Urbain and Dolly Tessier on February 29th surrounded by his loving family. Kevin grew up in a big, happy family in East Springfield, attended Springfield Schools, and was a veteran of the United States Navy. Kevin’s first love was his family and his farm in Agawam where he celebrated every season and entertained with his mini bikes, motorcycles, pool parties, fishing on his pond, hayrides in the fall and snowmobiling in the winter, and , of course, taking rides in his sports cars. Kevin’s stature could never measure the height of his strength, quick wit, great sense of humor and funny personality. Kevin will be deeply missed by the love of his life, Christina Tessier; his three children, that he was so proud of, Ashlee and Brandon Tessier and Kevin Lamson and his wife Ada and their children Mia and Trinity. He also leaves his sisters Kathleen and her husband Frank Pokigo, Colleen and her husband Dr. Mark Hirschkorn and AnnMarie and her husband Edward McAndrews. He was predeceased by his parents, brother Richard and sister Mona Chapin. Visiting hours will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00pm. For more details please visit curranjones.com. In Kevin’s words “let all that you do, be done with love”.
