Thompson, his uncles Robert V. Thompson (Carole), and Paul Turmel (Barbara), his aunts Karen Turmel, Rose Carter (Bruce), and June Lefebvre, and his cousin and good friend, Bart Thompson and countless life-long friends from school and slot-car racing.  In addition to his mother, Kevin was also predeceased by two of his uncles, Peter Turmel and Paul Lefebvre.  Friends and family are invited to gather directly at Ste. Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan St., Chicopee, for Kevin’s funeral services on Friday, November 7, 2025.  A period of visitation will be held from 10:00 – 10:45am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00.  Committal services will take place at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Kevin’s name can be made to the Springfield Rescue Mission, P.O. Not sure what to say?

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always Kevin.

Ed, I was sorry to hear of the passing of your son Kevin. All I can do is imagine the grief you're going through. You have my blessings. May Kevin rest in piece.

I'm saddened to hear the passing of Kevin Thompson! Kevin you were a good friend, fly high my friend!

Kevin is one of the most caring, and helpful men I've known who could make the room roll with laughter. Just as easily Kev could build, race and win with slotcars at tracks across the USA. He was an amazing friend to both my sister Dawn and me. He helped us build our Slot Car business, as he did with others in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and New York. We send our sincere condolences to family and friends, because we know they'll be hurting and sad. Thank-you for increasing...

You left us too early Kevin. A shock to us all. I pray you are at peace in heaven with your mom by your side. You will be missed every day... gonna miss that big smile and laugh.

Rest in peace Big Kev. I'm sure going to miss you.

What a great guy to be with Enjoyed talking with him at good ole Hallmark Cards along with partying with him after hours God Bless to the Family Kevin will be surely be missed

I remember racing slot-cars with Kevin at the track in Agawam and also hanging out with Kevin at Knucklehead shows in Chicopee, Spri field or West Springfield. He was always a happy guy to be around and would always clear the front of the stage out for the girls to see the band perform.... LOL.
Until we meet each other again, you are in God's hands now.

So sorry for your loss! You was a good friend and a great co worker!! Rest in peace my brother!
