He enjoyed watching sports with his family. He loved supporting his boys in all of their activities and did his best to never miss their extra-curricular activities. He spent many hours devoted to his favorite activity, geocaching as auctnr, which helped him develop many friendships and a new love of travel. Kevin was also known for his large backyard parties and bonfires.
He married the love of his life, Raedeen Clough on August 12, 1995, in Pratt, Kansas. She survives of the home with their sons, Graysen Wingate of Denton and Karsen Wingate of Shady Shores, his mother, Rosa Lee Mills, sisters, Mellissa (Cy) Ricker of Kansas and Krystal (Brian) Atteberry of Kansas, grandmother Della Schooling of Kansas, mother-in-law, Donna Clough of Kansas, sister-in-law, Kelly (James) Pauling of Oklahoma, grandmother-in-law, Thelma Westerman and special family members, Rita (Ronald) James of Kansas, James (Deana) Horn of Kansas, and Cassy (Raymond) Romans of Oklahoma, numerous nieces and nephews.

I met the Wingates on a city tour of New Orleans in 2015 and taught their son, Grayson, the next year at Ryan High. I am so sad and shocked to learn this news. Please take care, and God bless.
