I am sorry for the loss of Keyvan. He was my intensive Spanish teacher at Hampshire College in the early 90´s. I remember how amazed I was with his ability to speak so many different languages. His class was one of my most memorable. My heartfelt condolences to Keyvan´s family and friends.

Keyvan was one of the first colleagues I met when I started at Fitchburg State. In my second semester, we taught in neighboring classrooms. I absolutely loved hearing his beautiful, booming, energetic voice through the divider between our rooms. He was such a joy to be around, and it was an honor to serve on the faculty with him. My sincerest condolences and prayers to all who love him.

I am so very sorry to hear of Keyvan´s passing. I will always remember his love of the Italian language, culture, and people. Our adult ed classes in Italian were some of my favorites. Kevan was so gifted and enthusiastic to share his love of all things Italian. My father thought the world of him and enjoyed speaking with him in Italian when we attended the CIC functions at Fitchburg State. Rest in peace, Keyvan. I will always think of you fondly.

I´m very sorry to hear about Keyvan´s passing. We met in Amherst in 1987 at a Brazilian party. We always conversed in Portuguese and I was impressed by Keyvan´s proficiency in multiple languages. At the time he was a high school teacher in Holyoke, where most of his students were Spanish-speaking. Keyvan was my student at UMass, my friend and my boss when he headed up a program of English for foreign visitors through the International Programs Office at UMass. After I retired from UMass in 2002, I asked Keyvan if he could use me in the program and he hired me for one of the best teaching posts I've ever had. Keyvan was the kindest man. I loved being his nurse I loved seeing his smile every morning. No matter how sick he felt Keyvan would always ask how my children and myself were doing. His kind words and often encouraging me to further my education I will miss our conversations and hold him and his sister in my heart forever .
