I was employed at the caravansary on sitter street when I was 18 years old. I remember kajag and Hildy being so kind to me as a young, confused girl. I felt their mentorship and advice throughout my life, I´m 66 now and was just reminiscing about those wonderful people when I found this announcement on the internet. So sorry for your loss and I feel so fortunate to have know this creative, kind family of entrepreneurs. Blessing to all.

A great American-Armenian who dedicated his life to the service of his nation. A true friend and compatriot who was a fervent supporter of all Armenian organizations. As a son of survivors of the Armenian Genocide, he knew full well the necessity of dedication to the Armenian Cause for justice, recognition and reparations. He was also a loved father and relative who cherished family values and friendship. A great man, an exemplary Armenian who was an inspiration to all. May he Rest In Peace...

How strange that I discovered this notice, as I haven't even thought about the Caravansary in over 30 years, but searching through the internet I stumbled in the notice of Khajag's. passing.
