I will miss walking into Cedars and being greeted by Khalil coming out of the kitchen to say hello. No matter how tired he was, he always had a quick smile and a wonderful attitude and sense of humor about life. He knew his regular customers by name and always made time to chat. Boy, he could cook! He was always talking about retiring.but never would. His customers and business meant so much to him! When I saw him recently at the restaurant, he seemed very serious about retiring next...
