Not sure what to say?

Kim Burningham, one of the noble and great ones. He taught me how to teach. He showed me how to love . . . everyone. I will never forget him.

I am just now learning of Kim Burningham's passing. What a grand man of theatre and speech. I took over his program when he retired in 1988-89 school year. What a pure delight it was to follow such a man of high quality and skill. His legacy at Bountiful HS and the Utah Speech Arts family will never be forgotten.

Dear Susan,

Sorry I was not able to come to the funeral but my prayers are with you. I deeply appreciated the influence for good that Kim had on my life. As my teacher he helped me to have confidence and to have faith in myself. Thank you Kim and I love you Susan. Love Toni

Kim was a leader and a role model for many of us. He was patient and kind and worked to make the world a better place. I worked with him at Shipley Associates and later with the Utahns for Ethical Government.

Dear Susan,
Sorry to hear about the loss of your husband. I always appreciated what he did for education in the State of Utah.

Mr. Burningham was a great teacher. It has been 36 years since I sat in his speech class. He instilled confidence in a shy girl. I found my voice in his class. I have used what I learned from him throughout my life. He was a great teacher. I offer my condolences to his family. Flora (Ford)Johnson

Kim was my debate teacher and show director in high school. Every time I saw him after I graduated he was always kind and considerate. He was one of the best teachers I have ever had. May God bless his family at this time of grief.

Kim was a great statesman, educator, and advocate for children. I learned so much from his example. My heart goes out to his family.

Kim was a wonderful man, years ago blessing me with the greatest teacher-development course ever! I will miss his zest for life and love of all people.
