Carroll and family:

Cannot express the sadness we felt upon learning of your loss. Although we have not been in contact for a very long time, I can assure you that Kathy and I and the kids think about you all often. We cherish the times we had together and the friendship that we built. Kim was a dear friend, an excellent Chief Petty Officer, and a darned fine "Coastie". I am proud to have known him. If there is anything we can do, please do not hesitate to let us know.

I worked for Mr. Chase back in 1997. I am a Reserve Petty Offcer and worked for Chase, in the Yard Exchange. I will never forget the tremendous knowlege of storekeeping and accounting that Mr. Chase had. He was an excellent officer and great person to serve under. I will never forget him.

I express my sympathy for your and your family's loss. While I did not know Kim, as chaplain of the Towson Post 22 I never get used to a death of a veteran.

I'm so sorry to hear the news about your dad. I met him at your lacrosse games. He was a great dad who love you so much. I will miss talking with him. Peace be with you and your family at this time.
