Kim Mary Fredrickson

Your loss is our loss. I just happened to purchase her book "Pulmonary Fibrosis Journey." What a godsend for those of us traveling this same path. I just checked today and found this obituary. My condolences to the family.

Kim´s book greatly enhanced the quality of my life after I was diagnosed with ILD. She still serves as my guide to living.

I am so sorry for your loss. I too, know the pain of losing someone to Pulmonary Fibrosis. My mom was diagnosed 3 months prior to her passing. She was 51 years old. I have a research paper on IPF I am writing for my degree and stumbled upon Kim's blog. I had intended on writing her and found this obituary. My heart broke seeing this, and my sympathies go out to her loved ones.

I followed Kim online for the past two years after I was diagnosed with IPF. I found her messages to be uplifting, informative and inspiring. I followed her regularly and so I was shocked to hear that she had passed away. In following Kim, I felt as if her fate was linked to mine. I found her to be so beautiful, inside and out. I am one of those silent followers. I have never responded to a blog before but I felt that it was necessary to say how much Kim meant to me. I feel such a connection...

Though I never met Kim, she was a friend and
Counselor, fellow patient and Sister in the Lord.
It was a sad day 6-3-2019 But was also a blessing
knowing her last breath here was her first with the
Lord!
