Kim E. Jorgensen

I knew Kim as a close friend when growing up in Atlantic, Iowa.

Kim had an unusual living arrangement in his early years. He lived in the Shady Lawn Rest Home, a large old-folks custodial home, with his parents who ran the place. He was the only friend who had an elevator in his house. His living room usually had the latest executive toys on the mantlepiece, like hula balls, the perpetual drinking glass bird, and Soma cubes. I worked with Kim at GRC. He was such a good story teller. He knew so much stuff and I loved hearing his yarns. He was thoughtful and kind. A gracious human being.
