Not sure what to say?

Kim, my dear friend who would silently smile at my shannigans and ask, What did you do now? I questioned you the moment you walked into my life in NYC telling me you wanted to be a make-up artist and that one day you would own your own studio. Not only did I learn what an amazing artist you were, but how disciplined and that your quiet grace was your strength. I miss you dearly and pray your soul is at rest. Many blessings to your son Jonathan and your loved ones. -Sonia

I am utterly shocked and heartsick. I hadn´t been in touch with Kimara for a long time and was just thinking of her recently. She was a lovely woman and I always enjoyed having my makeup done by her and later, doing reflexology at her studio for three years. RIP, dear lady.

I am shocked on hearing about Kimara's passing. On a whim, I had stopped into the studio, met Kimara and her staff and instantly became a devoted client for 25 yrs. I cherished each of my appointments with her and her staff. Kimara will always be remembered as a compassionate, extraordinarily talented, professional person who performed her magic and enable members of my family and me to feel and look "oh so special". I loved listening to her kvell about her beautiful son, Johnathan. My...

I am shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Kimara. I worked with Kimara as the Manager of Kimara Ahnert Make Up Studio for 12 years. She was a kind and generous person and treated everyone with respect. Sending condolences and prayers to all her family and friends. She will be missed.

So sorry to hear about Kimara's loss. My condolances to Jonathan, Santiago and all family and friends

Kimara was my first boss when I moved from Ireland to New York. She was always so kind to me and encouraging. I am very sad to hear of her passing and send my deepest condolences to all her family. May she rest in peace

Kamara was a beautiful person inside now. Our friendship began through Jonathan and our grandson, Matthew, attending Camp Seagull. Our friendship continued with visits to New York, breakfast with Kimara and Santiago, and sleepover with the boys. Next to my last visit to New York, Kimara insisted in doing a beauty makeover for me. Her generosity was as big as her smile. My love to Jonathan and Santiago, and prayers to all of Kimara´s family. Tomorrow will be missed today, tomorrow, and...

I am devastated by the knowledge of Kimara´s passing. So many memories and experiences did we share personally and professionally. She will be missed, mourned and remembered by all whom she touched personally and professionally. God rest. God speed, dear and beautiful Kimara. Your, Gerry
