Not sure what to say?

Yesterday I went to a funeral service for someone I did not know. Let me explain... someone who works for my spouse , his mother died. I went with Hubby to show support for his coworkers and staff I did not know the mother who passed, but had I known her we may have been friends. Not much older than myself, inflicted with the big C for 15 years, with several years in between the doctors telling her : you won't make is past such and such year. that lasted 15 years. As I listened to the Pastor...

Kim was such a sweet and kind lady. The last time I saw her we talked about our battles with cancer. We both talked about how we were not afraid to die. We knew that we were headed straight to heaven and would be with Jesus in paradise forever. I shall meet you again in heaven sweet lady. So glad I got to know you. May God grant all of your family peace and comfort.

She was a kind and wonderful woman. My heartfelt sympathy to her family.

I will always remember Kim fondly as a calming presence when chaperoning the Japanese Club's Cherry Blossom Festival field trip. Her strong faith was evidenced by her every action.
May God grant her family peace as she enters His loving arms.

May God smile upon you during this most difficult time. Kim was a woman of great faith and I know that she is alright. I will always remember her wonderful smile and the love that she had for her students and the Art program. I will always remember our conversations about the love of God that we shared on numerous occasions. God Bless!!

My prayers are with everyone that knew Kim, especially her family. I am so very grateful for having had the pleasure of her letting me into her life. She taught me strength when she really needed it the most, compassion for all, enthusiasm, and most of all, to have faith in God, no matter what happens. I will truly miss her, but will never ever forget her.
