Not sure what to say?

Carole and Katie,
I will always remember Kim's smile and her laugh. I am so glad I knew her.
As the days and weeks pass, and you return to the routine of your lives, I hope that you will continue to feel comfort from the love and support of each other and your friends.
Much love to both of you and your families.

To the family of Kim Duffey,I am so sorry for your loss. My name is Maggie. I am the one that made the blankets for both Steve and Kim. They loved them so much. I have been away and just returned home yesterday from Montana. They both were such dear friends to me and Aunt & Uncle to my children. I worked with Steve for years at Ron's towing and Kim was the principal at the school where my nices and nephews went to school. I feel very honored to have known them. They were so special to me and...

Carole, my deepest love and sympathy to you and Katie during this time. Take comfort in knowing a gentle sleep will bring her peace and the memories she gave many will keep her alive for ever in the hearts of those she touched.

We met Kim over 20 years ago and she was ever intelligent, caring and vivacious. Over the years, our paths intersected throughout her incarnations in the fashion/beauty industry, real estate, education, and her invaluable assistance as "coordinator" at the wedding of our son/dtr-in-law. No matter the time-gap, she was immediately and enthusiastically "all-in". We will remember her unexpected, hearty laugh and her sweetness.

Kim was an amazing teacher, for both children and adults. She was a passionate educator and always supportive of the teachers of Palm Springs. She will be missed. My heartfelt sympathy to those closest to her.

Dear Carole: My heart goes out to you. I can't even imagine the pain of losing such a beloved daughter so early. You always spoke of her with such a glow! I wish I'd known her. For you and Katie to lose two loved ones in such a short time is overwhelming. My thoughts and hugs are with you both.

Kim's radiant smile always lit up a room. She was one of the most positive persons I have had the pleasure to know. She valued education and loved teaching. During a fall conversation with Kim, I was able to convey that she would always be remembered for her passion for working with children. Thinking of you at this time of loss.

Kim and I taught third grade together at Cahuilla School and became best friends. She was such a joy to work with, enthusiastic and supportive. What a Loss! Deepest sympathy from Wini and Joe Poltz.

I am saddened by the shocking news of Kim's passing. She called me shortly after her husband's death and she was so desconsolate. She said she was returning to Texas, and I was not able to contact her since then. I was a teacher at Landau when she was principal.
I wish you peace.
