Not sure what to say?

Kim will always be the beacon I hold up as an educator and friend. Kindness, generosity, knowledge and true abiding friendship are her legacy to all who knew and loved Kim. She lives on through the lives of all she touched. God, please hold Kim in your loving, powerful arms!

Kim was one of the kindest and most competent teachers I've ever had the honor to work with. She was a true blessing to the children who had the good luck to be in her class. Our prayers were not answered, but she is with the Lord, and what could be better? Lil, you are in our family's prayers as you adjust to this new stage in life.

I taught with Kim at Yorktown Elementary (many years ago). Even though I have not seen Kim or Lil in years, they are still very close to my heart. Kim always treated everyone (adults and students) with much respect. Because of that, we all respected her and looked up to her. Her kindness was endless. All of us who have worked with Kim realize the loss that her faculty and students must feel. Lil, I will keep you in my prayers as well as you deal with the loss of such a wonderful person.

Kim: a lady I respected with all my heart. Kind, friendly, understanding, a true lady, an excellent teacher. Kim was what every teacher strives to be. She had a respect for all mankind, but it personified itself in her daily dealings within the classroom. If anyone could make a difference in the life of a troubled child, Kim could. The world has lost a precious life. We need more people on earth like Kim.
Past co-worker: Debra Sterling, Yorktown Elementary School

What a tremendous soul we have lost. Kim was a light to so many, students, teachers, friends, in her sweet, yet firm, loving and kind ways. We worked hard, but we had fun together at Yorktown Elementary School. My favorite memory with Ms. Hayman will always be the year we sponsored CHROME, made rockets and launched them together with the kids in the field (and nearly died when one landed on a house)! Lil, I will continue to pray for your strength and energy during this difficult time. God bless!

I was very shocked and saddend by the passing of Ms Hayman it was an honor to have had her in our lives she taught both of my sons in 5th grade and it was a joy everytime I saw her she always greeted me with a smile she will be greatly missed but god makes no mistakes and he truly has an angel now give them all the knowledge they want Ms Hayman

An angels wings have been spread open wide to take her thrown in heaven beyond the skies.

This angel was one of many with specially developed unique features that aided young children in the right direction.

She brought out the best in all of students. It takes a special kind of person to walk in her shoes.

We will truely miss your smiling face,
warm embrace, and most of all your encouraging words of wisdom.

Sleep on Mrs. Hayman and...

Kim, my dear friend, I miss you greatly. Very few people have the grace and selflessness that you possessed. While I know you were aware that you were a very good teacher, I don't think you knew what a truly magnificent human being you were. You were my best friend. You were the best thing to happen to so many children. I take your spirit with me every day to my classroom so that children continue to be blessed by you. Thank you for being the loving friend that you were. I love you.

my son and i are so very sadden, for the sudden lost of a great teacher with a special heart .
