Not sure what to say?

Mary and Courtney - When we were kids, we couldn't wait until our next visit with the fun and sunny Hammonds in Grand Rapids. I secretly wished that our fathers had never ventured away from Fremont, Nebraska so that we could have all grown up there...together. We adored your mom and dad. They were so upbeat and full of stories and managed to see the humor in every situation. Plus they were so nice to us and were always interested in what we were up to. I loved Kip's joyful laugh,...

Dear Cousins Mary and Courtney,
How sad we were to learn of Kip's passing. We can't imagine not having her here with us, as she was a cherished part of our family glue and a well-spring of so many stories. The Ohio contingent of the family will always remember Kip for her vitality for life, her curiosity about everything, her enlightened and informed political views, her kindness toward us, her compassion for those who had less, her love for both of her daughters, and her refusal to...

Courtney and Mary,
The care and love you gave Kip, and that she no doubt felt in return, keeps the world spinning on its axis. It is an energy that flows outward and encourages all of us to be more conscious, awake, and in the moment ... to love and give more of ourselves to others.
Best wishes to you both,
Ken

Mary and Courtney-
Kip was such an interesting person. I always enjoyed talking with her. I'm sorry for our loss.

A loud voice for the poor and oppressed has gone quiet. Many will have to speak for her now

Dear Mary and Courtney, Thank you for sharing your mom with me and my whole family! We all loved our "Kippy-Doo". I already miss her and am here to help you both in any way I can. I'm sure she is already getting more stories from Grandma Leschoff and enjoying you're dad's company. Rest in Peace Kippy-Doo! You sure deserve it! With love and more memories that I can share, Lisa Erhan

What a great lady to grow up across the street from! Always had time for a great conversation (and always had a list of odd jobs around the house).

Mom,
I love you with all my heart!
Courtney

We enjoyed being friends and neighbors with Kip for so long. What an intelligent, adventurous and witty woman! We enjoyed listening to stories of her life (a few including my mom). Mary and Courtney--you were blessed to have her with you for so long. She will certainly be missed.
