Not sure what to say?

We are so sad to hear of Kirby´s passing. He was a lovely man who made everyone feel comfortable with his presence. We knew him as a fellow lover of Jazz, but he was so much more than that...a caring man who will be missed by so many people. Our sincere condolences to Amy and all of their family.

I send my gratitude to Kirby and Amy for raising such wonderful children one of whom (Peggy)has become one of my dearest friends. That could not have happened were they not both the best of people.

Condolences to Amy and family. I just learned of Kirby's passing. I've been friends of Kirby and Amy since the first Otter Crest has parties. I'm very sad he's gone now, but wonderful memories live on with those who loved him.

Amy, sorry to hear of Kirby´s passing. I fondly remember the good times playing games at Portland Plaza.

My condolences to you Amy. Kirby and I were best friends at KHS. I lost touch with college but was happy for you and Kirby when I learned you had married. In the fog of the past, we were chemistry majors at WU. I subsequently went to Baylor College of Medicine, became a Texas, and retired in 2002 from neurosurgery. My wife died last year from non Covid causes. May you and your families be in good health. Chuck

So sorry to hear of Kirby`s passing. A high school friend.

Being a long-time resident and supporter of the arts in Portland, I remember about 20 years ago suddenly seeing a deeply devoted elderly couple at most of the events I was attending and then being told, Oh, those are Kirby and Amy Allen, retired physicians from Salem, who have moved to Portland to enjoy the cultural scene. And enjoy they did, and so did all of us enjoy seeing them everywhere--museum, symphony, theater, jazz performances, but I will miss Kirby most not having him sit in front...
