Not sure what to say?

I often feel Kirby's presence and exuberance as I go about daily like!

Whenever there is a Super Bowl.... I think of watching the games with you & Bob Taylor.... Whenever I am at the Oregon Coast & admire the hand carved oriental dresser that you gave to my wife & me..... I think of you.... miss you....

Kirby was a good friend to me, and I miss him. I continue to nurture a potted plant he gave me the last time I saw him. He loved his little dogs and his greenhouse. He found peace and comfort there. Rest In Peace, Kirby.

The Christmas card at Christmas from the FOX Family.... the phone call before the Super Bowl from Bob Taylor.... coming up on the 1 year anniversary....

Memories of Kirby & good times of the past....

MISS YOU BUDDY!!

Jim Iwasaki

Just had my 2017 Christmas card returned and went looking for Kirby online. My wholehearted sympathies to all his family and friends.
I knew Kirby at Camp Casey in Korea in 1967, one of my first friends when I arrived in country as a Red Cross Clubmobile girl. We've exchanged news and cards all these years, and I've looked forward to each one he wrote.
This has sort of stunned me.

I worked with Kirby in the late 70s when he co-owned a kitchen dealership in SW Portland. Kirby and I had contemplated starting another business but instead he launched Excell which was the right decision for him.

I always enjoyed our friendship and respected his leadership in the community.
I'm sure you are missed by so many.
RIP my friend.

Sherry, I am so very sorry. Love you and miss you. Katy Luce Riley

Kirby was a great mentor to me as well as many others. I always felt he genuinely and passionately cared about the young growing business Joe Laughlin and I were building. His famous line admonishing us to work on the business and not be consumed working in the business was so true. He cared deeply about me personally and I him. I will carry many fond moments with, and memories of, this big man with me forever. It will never be hard to pause a moment and reflect of what advice Kirby...
