Not sure what to say?

Coach Page was a great influence on those of us on the wrestling team. We're thinking of the family in sympathy and friendship.

I have many happy memories of the Page household that I hold dear in my heart to this day. My thoughts are with the family through the difficult transition of losing Kirby.

Kirby Page was a great man that I will never forget. He was always a great help and loved to make sure we did moves right. He hardly ever missed a wrestling match and will be missed greatly.

I have always known who Kirby Page was (as everyone did in the wrestling community), but it wasn't until two years ago when I became the wrestling coach at Linden High School that I really got to know Kirby. He was always at practices and matches giving great advice to both myself and the wrestlers. I will always remember the blue twinkle he had in his eyes when he was helping the kids. I will never be able to fill Kirby's shoes, but I will always try to make decisions that Kirby would be...

It will be hard to believe that we will have a wrestling practice without Kirby. Kirby could be seen at practice on a daily basis at Linden High School. Never will there be another person so passionate about this sport. His influence in the practice room and on the mat was incredible. For the next four years, this gentle and beloved man, "Coach Page", also my freshman high school baseball coach, encouraged me with timeless words of wisdom that stay with me to this day.

In my mind's eye, I can still see him standing on the sidelines during games in his grey Linden sweatshirt, pumping his fist and...

I wish the Page family well during this time. Kirby was more than a teacher and coach, he was a good friend to so many. He will always be a part of Linden High and will be missed by so many. All my regards.

I taught with Kirby from 1966 until the time of his retirement. A more active supporter of students could not be imagined. He was an inspiration to the faculty at Linden High.

Under his guidance a couple of his students built a lecturn for me. I used it until my retirement. My daughter who is also a high school instructor wanted it for her classroom. So, Kirby's legacy will be remembered for many more years.

If there were more instructors like Kirby, education would be...
