Kirby Owen Smith

Will miss our sojourns to Leo's and home grown BBQs, as well as our many shared recipes

Kirby and I go way back to our younger days. He and I had a special relationship that has lasted through out the years. We never forgot each other, and kept in contact to the end. A piece of my heart is missing knowing he has left this earth, but rejoicing he is with his Heavenly Father. Love to you always!

May God give you strength and comfort during this difficult time. I am so sorry for your loss. Sending condolences and prayers to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed. Please take comfort in knowing that he is at peace with God at his side.

I lived right behind the Smith family house in Grand Rapids and went to school with him from grade school through high school. I don't think anyone who knew Kirby would forget him. Needless to say, it was an adventure to be around him. What remember most about him was his humor and him trying to get people to laugh. I lost track of him after I went into the service, but continued to tell stories about him to other friends. My condolences to the family.
