Kirk Matthew Clark

I just recently heard of Kirk's passing and have the fondest memories of the time we spent together in our youth carousing, riding motorcycles and the time I spent with his family. The world is a lesser place without Kirk in it. Rest In Peace my friend-

I first met CAPT Clark when we both were enlisted Sailors waiting in line for our annual physical at NAS Moffett Field. As is usual in the military, we had lots of wait time in line, so we struck up a conversation and found we had much in common. At the time my wife Madelyne and our children were living in the Pocket area of Sacramento so discovered Kirk had grown up in the same area and attended Kennedy High School where our son eventually graduated. Kirk Clark, who I've known since he was a child, was an outstanding human being. He was courageous, compassionate, competitive and thoughtful of others. I know his father, Jud, a dear friend, must truly miss him, as do his brothers and all who were close to Kirk. May Kirk rest in peace and may his name be long remembered.

Kirk, who I've known since his childhood, was an outstanding person. He was compassionate, smart and respectful of others. He was a patriot who served out country. His father Jud, a dear friend who thought the world of his son, will miss him greatly--as will all who knew Kirk, including my son Carl. My Kirk rest in peace and may his name be long remembered.
