I just heard about the death of Kirk. I want to express my sincere condolences to his family. I first met Kirk in the 1990's when I went to work in Wilson County. I got to know him through the years and always found him to be a nice "gentle giant" as well as an excellent attorney. He came to my families help when we needed it and for that I'm forever grateful. To his wife, Lisa, I want to let you know that you are in my prayers. To his children, your father was a man who came to the aid...

I put Family, because we considered each other family. Brothers of the road! Lisa, and Kirk, have been there for me in some of the most trying times in my life.
Kirk "Big Chief" was one of those giants of men. He stood above everyone, but was the "Gentle" Giant. We had fun times, sad times, and then some times we never saw eye to eye. But for all of that Kirk loved me. And said so!
