KIRK STEVEN HELMICK, age 33 years, a former resident of Parsons, WV., and more recently a resident of Mannington, WV., departed this life Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at his home. Death was attributed to cardiac arrest. He was born Thursday, October 17, 1974 at Fort Hood, TX., a son of Ralph Junior Helmick, who survives at Bretz, WV., and Karin Ute Wurfel Helmick, who preceded him in death November 28, 2000. On September 5, 1998 at Job, WV., he was married to the former Magan Ann Kisamore, who survives at Mannington. Also surviving are two daughters; Kendra Lianne Helmick and Aliyah Karin Danielle Helmick, both at home in Mannington, two brothers; Mike Ronald Helmick of Ohio, Andy Ralph Helmick of Hendricks, one sister; Birgit Cummons and husband Steve of Ohio, one step sister; Kelsey Markle of Parsons, his paternal grandmother Pauline Carr of Dry Fork, his father in law: Daniel Kisamore of Mannington, two brothers in law; Jacob and Leigh Kisamore, both of Mannington and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are his paternal grandfather; Ralph Helmick and his paternal step grandfather: Lewis Carr and his mother in law: Laurie Chambers Kisamore. He was a graduate of Tucker County High School with the class of 1993. He was a former employee of the Colonial Millworks at Beverly, WV. He was currently working as a lawn care specialist and snow removal for Yoder�s at Morgantown, WV. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved to spend time with his family. A Celebration of Kirk's Life will be held in the funeral home parlor at Parsons on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at 1 PM. The Reverend Dick Gadd will officiate.
