KIRK J. PENBERTHY

Dearest Kirk, Love you so much and always remembering the wonderful times we shared in DC, as friends and at the Studio Theatre.

Kirk is a rare soul on this earth, and his presence is always with me. He took several of my acting classes at the Studio Theatre in DC, and we became dear friends and colleagues. I still feel the warmth of his friendship, his beautiful presence, and his deep care for others.

I think today Kirk would have been 61 years young. Thinking of him and all of you today. Today I am earning a half day's pay for a cancelled shoot thanks to the union he worked so hard for. Much love.

Words cannot express my love for Kirk, and my gratitude for all that we shared over the years at Studio Theatre and in our improve group. He is such a beautiful person, always so present, so vulnerable and willing to learn and grow. He will always be in my heart. I send my love to you and your family. Meade Andrews

I know Kirk from youth sports events throughout Bethesda. Our sons play on the same baseball team and I coach his son on the basketball team.

Kirk was a true gentleman and incredibly supportive of his son.

My wife and I were stunned to learn about Kirk's passing. Our thoughts go out to his wife, children and his entire family.
