I played against Kirk in middle school and high school. I attended Red Bank Catholic High School. Hell of a player, made it look easy, really nice guy. Too young to go.

I watched Kirk play while I sat on the bench for St. Rose of Lima, Freehold. I was in 6th grade and Buck took a likeing to me so I sat with Buck at the scorer's bench. To this day I still talk about Kirk's greatness. The best ballhandler that I have ever saw and his court presence was incredible. RIP Kirk

My thoughts and prayers go out to Kirk's family and friends. We were classmates at CBA and he was always soft-spoken and a gentleman in the classroom but a fierce competitor on the court. He always played much bigger than his actual height and had the quickest hands of any basketball player I ever saw. He was the first great basketball player at CBA. I was proud to know Kirk during those years.

Kirk was my first basketball coach. More significantly, he was an important mentor to me as a young man, second only to my father.
