Kirk Wardell

I had the opportunity to grow up with Kirk and his wonderful family. My wife Sherri was close friends with Kirk from 7th grade on through high school. The Wardell and Kitts families got together at our house every year for Halloween so we could trick-or-treat through the Central Square neighborhoods together, since they lived farther out of town in Hastings-Mallory. Have so many stories and memories of times with Kirk and his family. His personality and sense of humor were infectious!! I...

Although l only got to meet Kirk recently and through short conversations at the bakery you could tell that he was a genuinely nice and kind man. Those who got the chance to get to know him well were truly blessed. He will be missed.

Remember when Kirk was born and growing up as related to him on his father's side. Had a lot of fun with him growing up when came to visit his grandparents the Wardells and going to his parents house when younger. RIP Kurk

Kirk was an amazing leader, mentor and teacher. He inspired you to be better. He was always optimistic and positive. When I interviewed with him for my job at Marquardt, and he shared his vision and what the company was ready to do, I was hooked. His enthusiasm was infectious. I knew it was going to be challenging and exciting. He hired people not just for their experience and knowledge, but for their capabilities and willingness to learn and grow. On the many trips to Michigan and Germany as part of the Marquardt family Kirk´s love of live and extreme optimism was always there and shared with those around him. He will be missed.
