Kitty S. Earley

Kitty Sue Abernathy Earley, 77, of Denver, passed away on Tuesday October 2, 2012 at a Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Huntersville, NC following a period of declining health .
Kitty was born on June 5, 1935 in Burke County to the late Horace Everette and Bessie Brown Abernathy. She was a self-employed hairdresser in her home on Enon Rd. in Valdese, NC and was a member of Enon Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Fred Leonard Earley and second husband Eric Cooke, one son Reuben Fred Earley, three brothers Odel Abernathy, Billy Abernathy and Oren Abernathy and five sisters Geneva Martin, Thelma Kaylor, Eveyln Jones, Margaret Sering, and Effie Abee.
Survivors include her daughter Regina Sue Mullins and husband Charles of Denver, NC, one son Robert Gerald Earley of Statesville, and one grandson Shane Lamar Heavner and wife Jessica of Asheville.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday October 5, 2012 at 2:00 P.M at Abernethy Family Cemetery, Enon Rd. Valdese with the Rev. Gary Garner officiating.
