My deepest sympathy to Mrs. Vanderby's family. She was my Dean of Women in the mid 1970's. She was kind and caring and well suited to her title. I could be quite the handful back then, so I spent quite a bit of time in her office. She always took the time to listen. I believe she truly cared about each and every one of us.
