Not sure what to say?

Death, be not proud

Death, be not proud, though some have called thee
Mighty and dreadful, for thou art not so;
For those whom thou think'st thou dost overthrow
Die not, poor Death, nor yet canst thou kill me.
From rest and sleep, which but thy pictures be,
Much pleasure; then from thee much more must flow,
And soonest our best men with thee do go,
Rest of their bones, and soul's delivery.
Thou art slave to fate, chance, kings, and desperate men,

The circle of life is unfair sometimes. The greatest gift we get in life is the gift of "great parents"...You had/have that. Clarence/Dad was a stern, driven, yet a humourous man, and I am sure all of you can see alot of his demeaner in yourselves..He was a man that devoted both time and emotion to not only the woman he loved (Maaike...Mom) but to his kids and his grandkids...We will miss "Clarence", but we will "NOT" forget...

My condolences to all of you in your loss, our thoughts and prayers to all of you. Your Dad visit frequently my Mom and Dad, he was a real good friend and will be very much missed by our family. It was more than 52 years ago that we emigrated our families traveling together from The Netherlands by sea and then across Canada by rail. A long history, stretching from Sneek to Vancouver and all those years your parents and mine always stayed close.

To Fred,

Very sorry to hear of your Father's recent passing. Those lessons passed from Father to Son evidently have been well applied, and your Father leaves behind a son to be proud of. I'm sure he was a remarkable Dad. My deepest condolences to You and Corrine for the loss of your Father.

Fred

Fred,

My sincerest condolences to you and your family.

I give you this one thought to keep
I am with you still - do not weep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at
night.
Do not think of...

Hugh, Janet, Fred, and Thelma

My thoughts are with all of you in this time. We have many wonderful memories and fun stories of the family gatherings on our farm...many practical jokes and laughs. Praying for all of you and your families....

To the Hospes children, who may or may not remember me as a fellow "Nithsdale Street" friend and schoolmate, I offer my sincere condolences in the loss of your father. Enjoy the evenings when he comes back to visit you in your dreams.
