Klaus Otten

We want to express our condolences to the death of Klaus Otten from his birthplace Stuttgart in Germany. We are allowed to live in his childhood home. He was no only our hirer, he has become a good friend of our family. He had a fine relationship to our two boys. In the last years he was able to visit us some times and we had a good time and many very interesting conversations with him about the various developments in Germany and the United States. Klaus was a visionary. I did not know him as a young engineer coming to America, but I see his patents/inventions, papers, and the subjects he taught and know he visualize the future. He told me of his art and his ability to visualize the flow of the wood's grain and how he allowed the wood's grain to paint his sculpture.
