Read MoreI became friends with Klaus in the early 1980's when I met him while working for Simon Miniski in the building at 510 Madison Ave. Klause took the time to teach me the art of fine jewelry making. He was a perfectionist & had such patience while teaching me his craft. Klause was always kind & extremely respectful. May he rest in eternal peace.

Dear Christa, Tanja and Klaus Jr.,
We were all very sad to learn that Klaus had passed. I was looking forward to sharing his love of sailing on a trip we discussed. He was a wonderful man, warm, genuine and easy to befriend. May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. His spirit will sail on our next voyage.
