Not sure what to say?

Both my husband and I were saddened to hear of his death. I remember him as a director at Camp Westminster in Conyers, GA where I attended; as a wonderful Bible teacher at First Pres when my husband attended RTS; and as the baccalaureate speaker at French Camp Academy when our son graduated there. My husband, Dr. Lane Stephenson sat under him at Belhaven and RTS. We are looking forward to meeting him again in our heavenly home.

I'm sad that I never got a chance to meet Dr. Chamblin in person, as he was the most influential professor I learned from while a distance student at RTS. Next year I'll begin as a HS Bible teacher and hope to pass on his lifelong work in studies of Paul and the Gospel. I am so thankful for how God used him in my life.

I just heard about Dr Chamblin's death. I had the privilege of being taught by him in the 80's. As an overseas student from Britain Dr Chamblin always made me feel welcome.Visiting RTS Jackson years later it was great to meet up with him again My sympathy and love go to his family. He will be much missed but his teaching and the way he lived out his faith will continue to impact this world.

Dear Ginger,
My heart aches for words, that I just can't find the right ones to express how sorry I am for your loss. I just want to say he was a fine Christian man. You both are very dear to my heart. Ya'll called on me in my deepest darkest struggles of life. I will always be gratiful And will never forget. I pray that God will give you the strength to face each days challenge/ I just wanted you to know that you are truly an angel to others probably when you did not know it. Knox...

Ms. Ginger, i am sorry for your loss although i know he is in a better place. You both were so sweet to me while I was attending Trinity. God bless you.

An irreplaceable influence and mentor in faith in ministry, because his depth of knowledge wasn't just academic. It was an extension of his faith, discipleship, and discovery. Dr. Chamblin's consistent character as a believer was as influential as his teaching. His thoughtfulness, care, and patience will be deeply, deeply missed, but have made a lasting impact.

I remember Knox well. Knox, Steve Hertz and I used to shoot hoops in his backyard. As I recall his dad worked for McKesson & Robbins. He was a good friend for the two years I lived around the corner on Meadowbrook Rd. He was a wonderful young man and obviously grew up to be a brilliant theologian. I haven't seen Knox since 1953 but I'll never forget him.

Knowing Knox= a glimpse of Christ and the embodiment of grace, mercy, caring, wisdom, and humility. We will certainly miss him and are so grateful that Ginger and Knox were generous friends with their time and prayer support.

Dr. Chamblin was a great teacher and theologian. I am blessed to have known him. He will be missed. Your family is in my prayers during this time if sorrow.
