How lucky Betsy and I were to have Shirley as our neighboring landlord. Without fail, it was obvious that Shirley carefully vented new tenants to provide an unbroken stream of absolutely lovely, bright, student neighbors. While such a task may seem perfunctory, know that her thoughtful, kind attention to our well being has played a significant role in making downtown living a wonderful experience for us. We are very sorry for your loss.

We are so sorry to learn of Shirley´s death. Shirley, Glenn and family were friends from 50 years ago when we were neighbors in Burns Park. What a talented and thoughtful friend! We have several of her pottery creations that remind us of what a special woman she was. May your good memories provide peace at this time of loss. Barbara & Dan Balbach
