I first met Knut when I joined the Grieg Lodge, he was very welcoming, and I thoroughly enjoyed working with him on the buildings committee. My daughter is very interested in horses and when she was little, he sent her an article about how farmers used their horses in World War II to defeat the Nazis. He was a very kind man and will be missed and remembered fondly.
