During a visit to Paris in 1964, my parents fell in love with an unusual painting of Notre Dame cathedral by a young street artist - "Ken" Engelhardt. In 1972, my father returned to Paris and found Knut at the same location still at his easel, this time purchasing a rendition of a Paris street in the early fall. My parents are now deceased and one of Knut's paintings currently lives on the wall of my home and one graces my sisters home. We recently went looking for information on the artist...

Knut,
Your stories rival any of Hemingway's. As the saying goes - not all who wander are lost. Your legacy lives on in New Orleans through your family, your art, and our memories.
Bis später!
