Kolbjorn Inge Tenfjord

I am very sorry to hear that Kolbjorn has passed away. Kolbjorn and I first met in Houston in 1967, when I was working there for The Norwegian Government Seamens Service. So sorry to hear about Kolbjorn today.
I remember Kolbjorn from when he first came to the US and stayed with us. He always felt like a friend as well as family. He and Katherine treated me so well whenever I visited them, in England and Colorado. I remember going in to London every day on the train with Kolbjorn when I stayed with them in 1978. They were so gracious and I first got to know Kari, Peter, and Marit then. I enjoyed ski trips to CO and seeing both Kolbjorn and Katherine...

We moved to CO in the Fall of 1995. In the spring of 96 Kolbjorn was looking for pals to dig and transplant spruce trees from the National Forest. I was the only one to respond to his call and since I had a pickup at the time he was more than please to have me along.
We drove to Fairplay and got our permits from the National Forest field office and headed into the "bush". After a couple hours of digging I had only one tree dug and Kolbjorn already had 3.
