Dear Kolin's Family,
Just after college, I subbed in the science department for a maternity leave at Greendale High School. Kolin was such a blessing! He not only assisted me with lesson planning, he also took the time to visit, share lunches, and make many jokes. I couldn't be at the funeral, but my thoughts were with all of you and my prayers continue to be that you will find comfort in the knowledge that Kolin is with his Lord.

I know it's been a long time and I hope you remember me. I just heard about your son through my mother who goes to the church he belonged to. I'd like to leave you my deepest sympathies. I have two daughters and a son and I know I would be devastated if I were to lose one of them.I know we haven't seen each other in years but I just thought in this difficult time it would be appropriate for me to write and send my condolences. You probably don't remember me, I used to date Gerry. Laura Konitzer forwarded an email to me about the death of your son. I am so sorry for you loss. I can't imagine how I would feel if I lost one of my daughters. But I do know how hard it is to go thru cancer treatments with a loved one. My prayers and thoughts are with you.
