Not sure what to say?

Dear Kolin's Family,
Just after college, I subbed in the science department for a maternity leave at Greendale High School. Kolin was such a blessing! He not only assisted me with lesson planning, he also took the time to visit, share lunches, and make many jokes. Ironically, we both relocated to northern Wisconsin, where we ran into each other coaching in Merrill. I returned to the Milwaukee Area a couple years ago and Kolin and I lost touch. A friend of mine who teaches at...

Cindy,

I couldn't be at the funeral, but my thoughts were with all of you and my prayers continue to be that you will find comfort in the knowledge that Kolin is with his Lord.

May the peace that Kolin knows be the peace that gives you strength.

Cindy, Nancy, Kurt,
The years have flown by. I realize we have not seen or been in contact with any of you in many years but that does not mean you have not been in our thoughts and prayers at different times through the years. We pray that God will comfort you in your loss of a precious child. May God bring you His complete peace and love into your hearts so you can once again smile at His goodness and love for you.

Cindy,
I know it's been a long time and I hope you remember me. I just heard about your son through my mother who goes to the church he belonged to. I'd like to leave you my deepest sympathies. I have two daughters and a son and I know I would be devastated if I were to lose one of them.I know we haven't seen each other in years but I just thought in this difficult time it would be appropriate for me to write and send my condolences. Hope your doing ok and God be with you.

Cindy,
You probably don't remember me, I used to date Gerry. Laura Konitzer forwarded an email to me about the death of your son. I am so sorry for you loss. I can't imagine how I would feel if I lost one of my daughters. But I do know how hard it is to go thru cancer treatments with a loved one. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Cindy,Randy,Lisa,Gerry,

Gather yourself around your faith, for Light is the Darkness most feared.

Those were the words running through my head when I read an email from a friend that said, "I know you remember Cindy Shilling, she lost her son".

You all were a part of my life for nearly five years, everyday, at Ebenezer. Those memories are some of the happiest of my childhood.

Today, a piece of my heart goes to all of you, along with the greatest...

We are good friends of Kolin's paternal grandmother, Ginny Golcher Kuglin. Kolin was in our prayers since he was first hospitalized. He was a courageous young man. Our deepest sympathy to all of his family. May our Lord hold you in his loving arms.
