Not sure what to say?

Dear Helene; I cannot tell you how surprised I was when I saw just now that your husband had passed away. I had asked about you both when I returned from vacation, as you both were not at a lecture. I was only told that he was not well. He always had great insight into intellectual events, and often asked questions or made comments. He certainly will be missed by so many people. I hope the friendships you have made at the Longmeadow Center give you some comfort as you struggle...

Dr Murthy was a devoted arts patron at the Asian Arts and Culture program at UMass Amherst. I send my sincere condolences to Helene and his family at his passing. May he rest at peace.

It was a pleasure to meet Dr. Murthy in Senior Center or IAGS gatherings. He had a twinkle in his eyes with happiness to meet friends. He had knowledge on every subject . Will be missed by the Indian community .

Kollegal and I shared some patients and your daughter became friendly with mine when they were in college together. His patients loved him and were well cared for. they would mention his vast knowledge and gentle manner. May the memories of your family time together comfort you during this sad and difficult time, Jeff Wasser

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Kollegal. His passionate views on issues discussed at LDTC'S membership meetings, as well as at the discussion groups facilitated by me,will long be remembered. RIP, my friend.
