Not sure what to say?

My sincere condolences to the family. Dr. Wyatt Sr. was my doctor when my family moved to Canon in the 50's. When Kon Sr. retired Kon Jr. took over. He delivered 2 of my sons. One of my fondest memories of him is when he delivered one of my son's on the 4th of July. He told me that I couldn't have him on that day because of his annual cookout. (he was only kidding) He came to St. Thomas More early in the morning delivered my son in his shirt sleeves, once everything was ok..... off he went to...

Our sincere condolences to the Wyatt sons and our apologies for not finding this guest book sooner. Meezie and I were great friends of Kon and P-Roe and will miss them. He was my best fishing buddy and I have not fished for the past several summers because he was not available. Fishing with Kon was the most relaxing times of my life ! I will particularly miss his wonderful sense of humor.

I learned of Doc Wyatt’s passing recently from a friend. My sincere condolences to the Wyatt sons—Brent, Kon, Lane, Tim, and Riede. I haven’t lived in Canon City since 1968 when my family moved away and I was 17, but I grew up with the Wyatt family living about a block away. I thought of the Wyatt house as my second home. Always something exciting going on there. Doc and P-Roe and the Wyatt sons were wonderful friends and neighbors to our family—my sister Sue and my parents. Both my...

It has been said that a man's legacy can be measured by his children. I can say that after knowing the Wyatt brothers for over 35 years that Doc had a tremendous legacy. Anyone who knows the sons will tell you the same thing - fun, free spirited, intelligent and above all always accepting of everyone, just like their father. He was a good Doctor, but and even better man. I will miss Doc and P Roe and their welcoming smile every year at Blossom time. Thanks for sharing your parents with so...

We knew him in many ways: as Dad, Doc, Kon, Gramps, Guru. He was our fishing pal, our physician, boy scout leader, tour guide, a coach, gardener, cowboy. Kon Jr. was born in Fordwick Virginia September 15, 1924 to Kon and Katherine (Kemper), who moved to Canon City in 1926 “because of excellent quail hunting.” They lived at 1st and Stanley, from which he walked to Madison Elementary with his dog Jack. His 2nd grade teacher, Mrs. Lawrence, taught Tres some 30 years later. His father,...

We have great memories of Kon and wife P Roe. Their visits to our home in Florida were one of the hi lights of our winter guests. He was such a gentleman.
