Dr Porter, Will, Kim, Wendy,

I just heard from Ken Meyer that Kris has passed away. I lived next door to the Anderson family in Kingswood Manor in the 60's and attended Edgewater High with Kris. I also just heard that Karen had passed away. Kris was the best man at my wedding to Debbi Pittman in 1971. He also attended my second wedding to Debbi. Kris was such a great guy and we shared many adventures during our youth. His family (and the world) will miss his cheerfulness and...

To Dr. Porter/Anderson Family,

I had the honor of knowing Kris all four years we both played football at UF. We were both offensive tackles and I played next to him and Burton Lawless when he became a guard. I saw Kris only briefly in the interim years after football, but still remember how during practices at Florida Field his parents were often there to lend him support. I also have a good friend, Dr. Samuel Hathy, who was a trainer for the Gator football team who will undergo...

Mary
I have been out of town visiting relatives the past week and a half and just got caught up with the newspapers. I was so sorry to hear Kris had passed away and that I wasn't aware of the funeral. I would certainly have been there. It was wonderful to have known him for, unfortunately, a short time. I know each time my LSU plays UF, he'll still be urging on the Gators. I'll talk to you soon.

Dear Mary, Will, Kim and Wendy,
I just heard of Kris' passing from Donna Glenn Collins. Mary, remember when you and Kris visited Burk and I in Atlanta. I remember Kris when we grew up together in Kingswood Manor and when we were in College together at the U of F. He was such a wonderful person. I am glad I was able to see him at Wendy's wedding near Birmingham and again in Atlanta and regret we didn't keep in touch more frequently. May God Comfort all of you and may we always...

Dr. Porter, Will, Kim and Wendy,

I too knew the Anderson family during my years growing up in Kingswood Manor, Kris was always a pleasant guy to be around. As Donna said it's hard to believe Kris and Karen are gone, I did not realize Karen had passed until now. I do know the sorrow in losing someone close as I lost my own sister this month last year, but we do go on and keep them alive in our memories.

Best to all of you and your families.

Dear Mary,
It was an honor to know and serve you and Kris at RWCC.
I wish only the best for you going forward with God.
Respectfully Yours,
Dave Potter, Security Chief (Ret.)

To the Anderson Family and Dr. Porter,

May your hearts be filled will loving memories and touched by the glow of Kris's smile. I was classmate at EHS with Kris he was a gentle giant, and always had time for everyone. We were blessed to have spent time with him and shared a piece of his life. A flame still glows and always will called Kris.
