Kris Langheinrich

Your mother was a wonderful friend and neighbor to us for many years. She was always so kind and lots of fun to be around. She was one very special lady. I am so sorry for your loss.

Kris was an angel walking here on the earth for a while blessing our lives. She seemed to know when others needed help of any kind and was always there for those of us who needed her. I was proud to call her my sister friend.

Kraig, Kami, Kim, and Kris, it has taken me this long to leave a few words as it has been difficult to express my feelings for you with the loss of Kris. Your mom was only 16 or 17 when we first met, Grethe and I had been dating for about 2 months before meeting everyone. Funnest memory I have of your mom was when she "sluffed" school and Grethe and I took her skiing . . . but on the way wound up hitting an ice block and tearing the oil pan off the car. Dear Langheinrich Family,

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Kris. She was my visiting teacher & RS President in Murray when I was a young mother. Her example of visitng teaching helped me gain my own testimony of visiting teaching. I will always remember her. May you be comforted during this time.

My favorite memory of Kris was when Kristopher was in Kindergarten, I believe. As part of an assignment, the teacher asked the children what their mommies did during the day. Kristopher proudly responded, in writing, "My mom watches TV all day and drinks". At the time, Kris and I were working on our computers at home and, admittedly, drank a lot of Diet Coke. Langheinrich family, our hearts ache for you. We are so grateful for all the tender memories we share from times past.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this difficult time. I am so very sorry to hear about your loss. I will always remember Kris as a happy, positive person and a wonderful friend to my mom.

Klaus, it is with great sadness I learn that Kris has passed away. I was immediately reminded of great memories of your family, growing up together, the special bond you and Kris shared, happier carefree days.
