Kristen Lynn Scott COLUMBIA Kristen Lynn Scott passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday May 29, 2018. She was born February 24, 1972 in Columbia, SC, daughter of Paul and Lynn Smith Scott. Kristen attended USC, Limestone and Midlands TEC. College of nursing. She was a certified CNA and EMT. She was employed by USC in the Earth Science Dept., Robertson Optical and Cameron and Barkley. Kristen was warm, witty, smart, and beautiful. She loved her family, friends, and her dogs, Lily, Chloe, and Bandit. Despite her medical conditions, she always found meaning and joy in her life. She will always be remembered for her quick wit and her love for all who kept her close in their hearts. Survived by her parents, Paul and Lynn Scott, sisters, Lauren Rachwal (Ed), Anna Elise Scott, Nephews, Scott, and Jonathan Rachwal, Aunt, Karen Fugua (Forrest Poole), Uncle Johnny Scott (Jane), and numerous cousins, Predeceased by her grandparents Ruth and E.C. Smith, Paul and Julia Mae Scott, Jean Scott, aunts, Barbara Miller and Elizabeth Davis. Funeral Service for Kristen will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday June 2, 2018 at Reformation Lutheran Church 1118 Union St. Columbia SC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Entombment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
